How do I cancel? What happens after?
Settings → ALIGNED Pro → “Cancel Subscription” — one tap takes you straight to the App Store subscription page. Cancel anytime before renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the current period. Cancel during the free trial and you won’t be charged a cent. No guilt-trip popups, no buried cancel buttons.
I got a new iPhone or iPad — is Pro still there?
Yes. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, not the device. Sign in on the new device and tap “Restore Purchases” in Settings. iPhone and iPad share one subscription — you never pay twice.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes — same app, same project format. On iPad you get a sidebar toolbar (switchable for left- or right-handed use), keyboard shortcuts (⌘Z undo, arrow-key nudge, ⌫ delete, ⌘D duplicate), and trackpad pointer support.
Do I need an account or internet?
No. ALIGNED is fully offline with no account system. Your projects, photos, and videos stay on your device only — nothing passes through any server.
Where are my projects stored? How do I back up or move to a new device?
Inside the app. Long-press a project card on the home screen → “Export Backup” to get a single .alignproj file (all assets included); open it on the new device with “＋ → Import Project”. For important projects, export regularly to cloud storage or your computer.
What resolution do exports use?
The canvas you chose when creating the project (e.g. portrait 1080×1350, square 1080×1080), exported as full-resolution PNG; pages with video export as mp4. Editing previews use smaller versions for smoothness — exports always re-render from the originals.
Why is video capped at 30 seconds?
Carousel videos work best as short, punchy clips — 30 seconds is the balance between file size and carousel experience. In the trim view, drag the middle of the strip to slide the whole segment and quickly find the right part of a longer video.
Can I import my own fonts?
Yes. Settings → “Import Font” (ttf / otf / ttc). Fonts are stored permanently in the app and survive relaunches. Please make sure you hold the appropriate license for any font you import.
Which languages are supported?
繁體中文, 简体中文, English, 日本語, 한국어. Tap “Language” in Settings to switch — takes effect the next time you open the app.
How do I turn on vertical text?
Select a text block → Alignment → Vertical. You can switch the starting side (traditional right-to-left / left-to-right), and punctuation converts to vertical forms automatically.
Exports look worse after uploading to Instagram?
That’s Instagram’s upload compression, not your export. Tips: place original photos from your library, upload straight from your camera roll after exporting, and avoid sending files to yourself through messaging apps first (they compress again).
